General Notes: MISSOULA - Kathleen Marie Parrott Wenninger, born on Oct. 27, 1925, left this earth on Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in the hands of her children and loved ones. She lived an adventurous and full life. With her registered nurse degree, Kay worked with the elderly and sick. She spent time volunteering and being active in her communities.

As a park host, Kay was a great friend to the forests and tails throughout the United States. The animals and people who visited the parks were truly blessed with her hospitality and knowledge of nature and history.

She is survived by her five children, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, brother and sister, and all of their families. She was loved by many.

Mass will be celebrated in her memory on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 5:15 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. A gathering in memory of her love on this earth will follow at 515 Rollins, Missoula. Kathleen married John J. Wenninger. John was born on 1 Aug 1925 in Bronx Co., New York and died on 23 Mar 2010 in New York, at age 84.

Marriage Notes: Miss Kathleen M. Parrott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilburt L. Parrott, 214-35 48th Ave., Bayside, L.I., became the bride of John J. Wenninger, son of Mrs. John Wenninger, 250-32 42nd Ave., Little Neck, L.I., at a Nuptiall Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Bayside. Rev. John T. Sherman officiated.

Miss Helen M. Parrott was her sister's maid of honor. The other attendants were Mrs. Armand Van Heule and Miss Jean Driscoll. The best man was Robert Wenninger and the ushers were Gerard Wenninger and William W. Parrott.

The bride is a graduate of Sacred Heart School, Bayside High School and St. John's School for Baby Nurses. Her husband, a veteran of the Navy Air Corps, is a graduate of St. Anastasia's School and Bayside High School. He is a student at Queen's college.
